Bataan 1st District Congressman Tony Roman announced that motorists can now appeal Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA)-issued traffic violations through the new Traffic Violations Appeal Ordinance.
Under the Ordinance, the Bataan Traffic Adjudication Board (BTAB) will handle appeals from motorists who believe their traffic citations are unjust.
Appeals may be filed at the MBDA office or online within 10 working days, with complete documents like the citation ticket, driver’s license, and evidence.
Roman reminded motorists to act promptly, as failure to appeal or pay fines may lead to LTO tagging, demerit points, or delays in license and registration renewal.
The Ordinance is one of the last measures Roman principally authored as a board member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
